Dear IAI Members and IAI Users,

I am honoured to take on my role as the new President of the IAI. I look forward to building on the exceptional work and legacy of my predecessors, the late Emmanuel Gaillard and Yas Banifatemi.

I particularly wish to thank Yas Banifatemi for her vision and dedication in delivering the new IAI website. Its refreshed look, functionalities and state-of-the-art directory, designed and curated to provide objective and qualitative information about our Members, ensure that the IAI remains an authority on the international arbitration community worldwide. This gives us a strong foundation on which to pursue the IAI’s core missions of community, transparency and thought leadership.

For more than two decades, the IAI has played an important role in promoting critical thinking and scientific contribution to the international arbitration field. I look forward to engaging with practitioners, users and stakeholders to foster knowledge sharing, debate and innovation, through a range of existing and new IAI initiatives. The strength of our IAI community gives us the perfect platform to reflect on and address the systemic developments and challenges impacting international arbitration.
